Welcome to the February Glitter Queens Blog Hop!!
This month we are highlighting all kinds of Sweet Treat Holders to inspire you ๐
Today I have whipped up some quick and easy treat holders using one of my favorites, an oldie but goodie the 2,4,6,8 box.
This is one of my favorite boxes to make because they are so super easy to assemble. Plus they are created with simple supplies and can be customized any way you like. And let's face it as a busy Mom of 5 some days I just need a project that I can whip up quick and easy! ๐๐
To create a basic 2,4,6,8 box start with a sheet of cardstock or Designer Series Paper such as the Painted with Love Paper used above that measures 8 1/2 x 4 1/2
๐ Can we just take a moment to admire this awesome paper!? #swoon ๐ I just love the painted with love designer series paper with it's beautiful gold foil accents ๐
Ok, back to the details on creating our box ๐
Step 1 - score along the 8 1/2" side at 2,4,6,8
Step 2 - rotate and score the 4 1/2 side at 2"
Step 3 - cut the score marks from the edge up to the 2" score line as shown in the photo above (this will become the bottom of your box) You should have 4 - 2” slits after cutting.
Step 4 - Remove the small rectangle that is formed by the 8" score line on the right hand side
Step 5 - Use your bone folder to crease all your folds
Step 6 - Use fast Fuse or Tear Tape to adhere the 1/2 tab and then close up the bottom to assemble your box
See what I mean... Quick and Easy!!!
Thanks for stopping by today!
